Rowing Boat Table

One of my most challenging commissions was being asked to convert a section of an old rowing boating into a bespoke coffee table to be placed in the rowing's National Training Centre.

The starting point was to remove the varnish that had been there for many years, revealing shining copper rivets and roves. Next I needed to add in a lot more structure to create stability to the now delicate hull. Finally, topping it off with custom cut glass and complimentary GB Rowing coasters.
